Here’s a logo that I did for the 2010 Team MDO sports festival. Team MDO is an annual sport festival for deaf youth that is centered here in Louisville, KY.

We aren’t picking on you. Really. But when considering a designer and/or developer for your project, it’s important to have some things figured out first.
I came across a post this morning that, in a joking way, is a good example. Written by Neil Middleton, it takes the all-too usual software building experiences and applies them to architecture. What if the same considerations expected of us by clients were dictated to someone building a new house? It’d be a mess, really.

Brother Doubt is releasing their first “full-length” CD (does “full-length” even really apply to CDs or digital releases as it’s a term coined for vinyl records?) in a few weeks. Unsurprisingly, since I’m in the band and all, I put together the artwork for the CD. Titled “The Double Greatest” after one of the songs, which is about Muhammad Ali, the disc will see 11 tracks. It was recorded by Trip at Studio K in late April/early May 2009.
The CD was released during a show at Skull Alley on August 21st, with 50+ CDs to be given out at the door.
Well, I haven’t found time to update the site yet. I was shooting to get it done over the past weekend, but was covered up with last-minute updates prepping the Brother Doubt CD to go to print as well as working on some really cool wedding invitations. I’ve also been brainstorming on ideas for the new Olympia Three CD design and marketing campaign.
Anyway, I have my mockup(s) completed, and I’m going to start cutting it all up here in the next two days. The BD CD comes out tomorrow!!!! and the first 50 people through the door at Skull Alley will get a free copy. So I have a lot to do before I can dig back into the site. Looks like Saturday will be a very busy day!
