Wordpress Custom Dashboard Panel

I made up a little custom dashboard widget for our clients at Louisville Web Group. At current, we’re placing this on the majority of our client’s WordPress installations. It gives the client a quick, easy way to see our contact information as well as a central spot to download their support documentation/”how-to guide”. I’m going to look into expanding this a bit in the future, possibly with a bit of JSON so that instead of having to update each dashboard with new info individually, I could update all dashboards simultaneously. This would be great for alerting clients to upcoming server maintenance or holiday hours.

Stepping Stone Software

I just found out that a quickie site that I designed back in October/November 2008 just launched… at the end of February 2010. It is a site for Stepping Stone Software, a product by Bluegrass.net. Stepping Stone is a web-based management system for Foster Care centers. It allows them to manage those under their care, adoption procedures, medical considerations, and much more. Good luck to BGN in launching this product!

The Action Pack

I recently uploaded some photos of a new Ska band in Louisville – The Action Pack. The show was in the basement of The House Of Wax off Dixie Highway in Louisville’s southend. Check out the photos and keep your eyes out for some videos that will be popping up on Youtube.

Security Innovations

Security Innovations, a surveillance and security firm in Ohio, has received a new site. Validation for HTML 5, some CSS 3 add-ons (which unfortunately are the only thing preventing validation), and built w/ PHP, the new site is available for you to view at anytime. It uses a little javascript for the rotating banner on the homepage, and has some flash animations on some of the interior pages. Videos are embedded on the Video page utilizing Flowplayer.
